Nikki Tavasoli is a doctoral student of economics at UC Irvine. Her key research interests are health economics, applied microeconometrics, and development economics as related to the Middle East. Prior to enrolling at UC Irvine’s Ph.D. program, she received her B.A. in economics from UCLA in 2014. She has also earned a masters in economics from UC Irvine as part of her doctoral studies. Nikki’s forthcoming research potentially includes studies on the effects of pharmaceutical and insurance pricing on health outcomes.
